This Latch Marking Tool does just THAT !!! After Whacking it with a hammer...it Marks an outline for you to HAND CHISEL the notch for the latch . 3 sizes available: 1" x 2-1/4"...1-1/8" x 2-1/4" ...or ...1-1/8" x 2-3/4" If you have a ROUTER and you DO NOT want to HAND CHISEL.. we have a JIG for mortising the latch in 1/10th of the time it will take you to hand chisel.
